MOSAIC

Dear Reader:

This Mosaic, this assemblage, is made not of shells or seeds or colored glass but of the minds and artistry of students and alumni in the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Program. Each story, poem, essay, and image become a piece of a larger whole, ever more dynamic and striking for being so. Over the course of the fall and winter of 2019, the editors solicited submissions, suggested edits, and compiled this journal. Mosaic is rooted in imagination and memory. May all who read it be transported to that grand place.
